One of our valued Volunteers recently managed to gain sponsorship from his employer Stagecoach towards one of our Fire Engines. They kindly agreed to Coachwork paint our Mk5 Crash Tender and during February and March 2014 Stagecoach kindly donated the time, expertise, paint and other resources in order to carry out an outstanding paint job. Once the Mk5 returns the team of Volunteers at the Museum will put her back together so that she can be proudly displayed for the public to see. We also hope to see the Mk5 in a few articles in the coming months.
